Sustainers is deliberately designed not to create an additional burden. Onboarding takes no more than two minutes, and the platform is so intuitive that every employee can start using it right away. No training, no separate time blocks, no learning curve.

In those thirty seconds, an employee records their action for the day and sees the impact they have made. That is all. It connects to what people are already doing, instead of adding something on top.

Getting started is easy too:

We take care of the technical setup, the content, and the guidance

You can start organization-wide or with just one department.

We store as little as possible. Only what is truly necessary: name, which can also be an alias, and email address. No IP addresses, no device data, and no unnecessary personal data.

Your data is stored in a secure environment that only our fixed core team can access. No external parties, no contractors.

Technically, we do everything we can to ensure this is handled properly:

Encrypted connections, TLS 1.2 or higher
Cloudflare protection on our endpoints
Automated security scans via GitLab
Annual external penetration test by security company Below0Day

All recommendations from those tests are implemented immediately. And if you ever stop using Sustainers, the data is fully deleted — or exported in advance upon request.

Yes, and that is exactly what Sustainers focuses on: ensuring that every employee receives challenges through which they can genuinely make an impact.

The platform is fully modular. For each role, department, or team, you can switch relevant topics on or off. A purchaser sees different challenges than a sales advisor. A field technician receives different actions than a colleague working in the office. This way, everyone can participate in the area where they can make a difference.

Topics that are recognizable for every employee: commuting, food, office energy use, and digital footprint. These remain available as a foundation, so colleagues without a direct role-specific connection can also participate.

Our belief: the more recognizable the content is, the greater the chance that someone will actually act on it. We have more than 150 specific challenges in our library and always tailor the content to the organization.

The platform is built on learning by doing. Employees do not learn about sustainability by reading about it, but by actually doing it — small, practical challenges that fit directly into their daily work.

We deliberately choose challenges that also create financial value. Reducing waste, lowering the use of raw materials, approaching conversations or processes differently — these are actions that are both sustainable and cost-saving.
